Matter Of Time Film- A Global Movement for EB
The moment we’ve been waiting for is here.
Matter of Time is now streaming on Netflix, inviting audiences around the world - including here in Australia - into the lives of families living with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), alongside the global community working urgently towards better treatments and a cure.
Set against the backdrop of Eddie Vedder’s powerful Seattle benefit concerts, the film shines a spotlight on the daily realities of EB — and the hope being driven forward through research, advocacy and community.
At its heart, Matter of Time captures the energy and emotion of a benefit concert led by EB Research Partnership co-founders Jill and Eddie Vedder in Seattle. More than a night of music, the event was a rallying cry to end EB.
The film follows the journeys of patients, researchers and advocates - united by urgency, hope and progress - as they reflect on milestones achieved so far and the collective drive to end EB by 2030.
Watch Matter of Time on Netflix
From the screen to something bigger…
There’s a moment at a great live concert - when the lights drop, the first note hits, and you can feel the emotion move through the room.
You’re not just watching anymore. You’re part of it.
That’s the feeling we hope people experience when they watch Matter of Time. Not as passive viewers, but as part of something bigger - a shared moment that connects families, supporters, researchers and advocates around a common purpose.
And when the film ends, we don’t want the energy to fade. We want people on the team, in the room, and walking alongside us as we work towards better treatments and a cure for EB.
Because real change doesn’t happen from the sidelines, it happens when people come together and decide to be part of something special.
Today is just the beginning…
Like butterfly wings, every watch, share and conversation helps this story travel further - building awareness of EB and the urgent need for research.
